OmniSOC membership provides significant benefits to smaller colleges and universities. By leveraging the resources of Indiana University and the GlobalNOC, OmniSOC provides 24/7 monitoring, investigation, triage, and alerting at higher education sector-appropriate service fee levels, making these services accessible to smaller institutions. Additionally, because OmniSOC standardizes member data and searches for indicators of compromise (IOCs) across all members, smaller institutions can benefit from the larger, more robust infrastructure of R1 schools.
