Michael M. Simpson is a senior security analyst on OmniSOC's security services team. Michael's long career in IT has included serving as a lead security engineer with Indiana University's University Information Security Office (UISO). There he focused on improving the university's IT security through leading the penetration testing team as the primary tester, security consulting with both central IT and departments of various missions and sizes, and incident response. Michael also represented the UISO on several institution-level committees with missions to improve specific areas of IT security and regulatory compliance at IU, including the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) Operations Committee.
